The Humanities Division at Mount Mary University is recruiting a pool of qualified individuals for part-time adjunct teaching positions to teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
As needs arise, the Division Chair will access the applicant pool, contact candidates, and proceed through the screen and hire process.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach an undergraduate course in Philosophy and/or co-teach an undergraduate course that combines Philosophy and Theology.
Assignments may include day or evening courses and may be offered in delivery formats including in-person, hybrid, or online
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in the discipline or subfield of the course(s) taught
Commitment to quality teaching in the liberal arts and to the social justice mission of the university
Experience teaching diverse learners using inclusive practices is preferred
