Adjunct Video Editing & Audio Production

Job Description

The Department of Communication seeks a professional editor to teach Video Editing & Audio Production this fall, Wednesdays 6-8:50pm. Candidates should have expertise in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, and Davinci Resolve, at a minimum. The Video Editing & Audio Production course is an upper level class designed to build upon basic video editing & audio production skills acquired in our Foundations of Media Production class, which covers audio and video production fundamentals as applied in service to the University’s radio and television stations. Course requirements for the Video Editing & Audio Production class include the development of advanced editing techniques, such as color correction, music-driven hype videos, ADR, foley editing, audio narratives, etc. The ideal candidate would have editing and production skills corresponding to the tv, radio and film industries.
