Anchor/ Multi-Skilled Journalist

Weekend Nights Anchor-Reporter who can shoot, write, and edit stories. This position is full-time and based in our Portland newsroom.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a team-first anchor who communicates news and information effortlessly and is authentically themselves on air. We also want a smart news hound with a heart. Someone who can enterprise impact stories three weekdays per week for a statewide audience. We expect a journalist who fully embraces our broadcast, streaming, digital and social platforms. In this job you will anchor the 6 & 11 p.m. newscasts on Saturday and Sunday, plus set-up, shoot, write and edit stories Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday dayside.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or similar field

• 1-3 years' experience Reporting, MSJing and Anchoring

• Experience in videography, editing, and posting to the internet a must

• Active on X, FB, Instagram, and Snapchat is helpful

• Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, and Axis graphics a plus
