We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join Spotify’s Productivity Engineering group, the team responsible for advancing the digital workplace at Spotify. Our mission is to give every Spotifier the best possible user experience from the moment they open their device. As an Application Engineer you will help Spotify lead in the SaaSOps domain, managing some of the core applications for productivity, communication and collaboration used across Spotify.
What You'll Do
Scale applications to support dynamic teams in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Identify and drive initiatives to increase productivity through automation and integrations
Assess dynamic business and support processes to implement, configure and optimize SaaS application usage
Perform SaaS application risk assessments and develop risk maps to ensure users and data are protected
Take the lead in assessing and selecting new technologies and integrations, including product enhancement and product upgrades
Who You Are
Experienced using DevOps practices to manage applications in the IaaS and PaaS environment and SaaSOps practices to manage and integrate SaaS applications
You have experience with major SaaS applications like Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, & Atlassian Cloud
A valued team player in a dynamic, autonomous, cross-functional agile team
Passionate about creating efficient systems and great end user experience while ensuring compliance and security
Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Python and or Javascript and are comfortable defining, publishing, and integrating with systems via APIs and asynchronous data exchange

We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the US East Coast region. This team operates within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone for collaboration
The United States base range for this position is $100,706 - $143,865, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
