We’re looking for a driven, growth-minded assistant account manager to join our account services team. The assistant account manager will be responsible for working with primary account managers and account leadership to ensure consistent, accurate delivery in all aspects of their assigned accounts. An ability to follow through on projects and maintain accountability is critical for this role. Assistant account managers also need to be quick on their feet, excelling in critical thinking and problem solving.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)
In conjunction with account leadership, facilitate communication with the client – answering all client emails/chats, sending all deliverables, sending launch confirmations, navigating all feedback and approvals
Assist in (or lead, as appropriate) development of client meeting agendas, status docs, lead meeting
Assist in development/presentation of all deliverables (research, media brief, measurement strategy, channel strategy, asset brief, tracking strategy)
Record and distribute questions and next step outcomes for client meetings
Attend client-facing meetings and internal team meetings as needed
Send social preview links and/or OOH proofs and/or print proofs to client for review, facilitate feedback and approval
Creative asset intake and initial QA
Assist in monitoring profit and loss, reporting up to twice a year
Assist in developing budget projections

Three months to 1 year of experience in a marketing or media agency setting
Ability to develop strong working relationships and work with management and multifunctional teams to respond to client needs
Excellent follow-through and no hesitation in ensuring accountability across teams
Desire to learn and grow
Familiarity with analytics and advertising data
Problem-solving skills
Willingness and desire to be a key individual contributor and strong team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills along with cross-company and partner collaboration skills
Ability to be clear, concise and effective in communication
Capability to work proactively under pressure and handle multiple ad hoc requests
High level of comfort escalating and presenting key issues to account leadership and agency management
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Education
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, or communications preferred
