This is a NEW full-time, 12-month position created to support the Business Office in the efficient management of the district's fiscal operations. The position reports to the Business Manager and is responsible for managing accounts payable and purchasing activities, maintaining an effective accounting system and controls for all financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports, collaborating with auditors and maintaining compliance with regulations and policies, and assisting the Business Manager with budget preparation, financial analysis and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business field
At least 3 years of business/financial experience, preferably in a school district or the public sector
Knowledge of governmental accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial reporting requirements
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets and other financial software applications
Ability to organize and multi-task
