The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in the day-to-day operations of the senior living community. This includes leasing, marketing, resident relations, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Community Manager in leasing apartments and maintaining high occupancy rates
Conduct tours of the community and apartments for prospective residents
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new residents
Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Assist in the planning and execution of resident events and activities
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of resident files and records
Assist in the collection of rent and other fees from residents
Assist in the preparation of reports and other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management or related field
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
Physical Demands
The Assistant Community Manager must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
The Assistant Community Manager will work in an office setting and may be required to work outdoors for events and activities.
