Location: Client Head Office Atlanta

Shift: 9 am to 5pm

The successful candidate must be able to assist product developers with project tasks to completion. This will include but not limited to product and sample preparation, product sampling support, complete analyses on syrup and finished product samples, coordinate shipping of samples and compete product validation testing with equipment.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Preparation of product formulations and support documentation as a part of the product approval process
  • Support product sampling creation and administer samples
  • Conduct product analyses for syrup and finish beverage to include pH, titratable acidity, Brix and other syrup and finished product attributes
  • Coordinate sample shipments to manufacturing facilities, company employees and other parties of interest
  • Validate products utilizing fountain equipment for FCB and FUB performance
  • Maintain lab instruments and equipment following established lab techniques.
  • Calibrate instruments as required
  • Adhere to establish company operating policy and procedure.

Job Requirements

Primary Technical Skills

  • Good of knowledge of food technology/product development.
  • Good knowledge of food chemistry and complex food systems (food ingredients and their interactions).
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage process technology, food hygiene and food microbiology.
  • Developed project management skills - planning, organizing and execution.

Education

BS degree with a minimum 1-3 years relevant experience.

Educational background: major in food science, food technology, food engineering or food nutrition.

  • Priority setting and multi-tasking.
