Position Summary

 

The Operations Director at Chick-fil-A is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing either Front-of-House or Back-of-House leaders and processes. In this position, the Operations Leader ensures the seamless integration of operational activities, focusing on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. They play a pivotal role in optimizing day-to-day restaurant operations, coordinating with Front-of-House and Back-of-House leaders to uphold Chick-fil-A's standards of excellence. This leadership position involves strategic decision-making, process improvement, and maintaining a positive working environment. The Operations Leader at Chick-fil-A is instrumental in driving overall organizational success, aligning with our company's commitment to delivering exceptional service to guests. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates as a strategic partner with their leadership team, providing guidance to optimize customer experience results and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Spearheads scheduling efforts to optimize staffing levels for the Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH) to enhance operational efficiency and meet customer demand
  • Plays a pivotal role in development initiatives and conducts performance evaluations to enhance leadership skills, contributing to a high-performance operational environment
  • Implements strategic actions and enforces operational guidelines to drive successful business outcomes, holding the team accountable for adherence to established standards
  • Cultivates positive employee relationships by providing clear instruction and constructive feedback during pre- and post-shift huddles, fostering a cohesive and motivated team
  • Executes meticulous management of inventory, waste, vendors, equipment, facilities, and operational procedures during shifts


Skills and Experience Needed

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or 4 years of leadership experience 
  • Chick-fil-A Restaurant experience (preferred)
  • Business driven individual focused on achieving organizational goals
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for best results
