The ideal candidate will be an experienced lean six sigma professional who is able to lead continuous improvement projects and improvements. This role will be responsible for leading Kaizen events, deploying Visual Management tools and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement at our client's manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
Develop, present, and lead plans in support of continuous improvement including targets, budgets, training, timelines, labor, and capital requirements which support the overall business goals.
Train, coach and mentor team members in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the site and organization.
Implement visual management tools to drive changes in working capital and operational excellence improvements.
Establish and track KPIs.
Lead Kaizen events.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in a manufacturing or service environment that embraces continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with a history of career progression.
Demonstrated history of change management implementation and operational excellence improvements.
