What You’ll Accomplish
Our Contract Manufacturing Analyst will manage relationships with our external manufacturing partners to deliver strategic company growth and service objectives. Additionally, this individual will help to identify and onboard new contract manufacturers to enable growth in new areas or to provide supply chain redundancy, which is critical to our ability to deliver nutritious meals to the pets we love. What You’ll Accomplish
Our Contract Manufacturing Analyst will manage relationships with our external manufacturing partners to deliver strategic company growth and service objectives. Additionally, this individual will help to identify and onboard new contract manufacturers to enable growth in new areas or to provide supply chain redundancy, which is critical to our ability to deliver nutritious meals to the pets we love. In addition, you’ll:
- Support the alignment of contract manufacturing network capabilities to deliver annual plans.
- Work cross-functionally to identify, develop, implement, and track process improvements and value engineering initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the Company’s business growth and sourcing requirements while proactively anticipating challenges, understanding the “Big Picture”, and ensuring contract manufacturing related milestones are completed on time
- Lead strategic projects that enable dual sourcing and/or unlock productivity
- Ensure all tactical elements of contract manufacturing are accurately and efficiently executed
- Effectively manage relationships with contract manufacturers; act as the liaison between Wellness Pet and our external partners, providing regular feedback on supplier performance and communicating key performance metrics
- Develop supply chain contingency plans for business interruption in addition to identifying new and alternative contract manufacturing partners

- A bachelor’s degree in food science, manufacturing, or engineering
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or other CPG supply chain-related role
- A minimum of 1 years of project management experience leading a cross-functional and/or multi-location team
- Prior experience working with external partners (manufacturers, suppliers, etc.)
- Experience participating in the commercialization process for new products and familiarity with stage gate processes
- Demonstrates strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Proven success working in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
- Is able to travel approximately 30%
