As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective internal controls, and driving financial decision-making across the organization. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance withGAAP
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports to aid decision-making
• Financial Partnership: Work with departments to analyze results and recommend improvements
• Risk Management: Mitigate financial risks and manage investments
• Audit Oversight: Coordinate external audits and tax filings
• Insurance Portfolio: Manage the insurance portfolio
• Budget and Forecasting: Handle annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Experience in contracting, construction, or manufacturing preferred
• 8+ years in financial management with GAAP knowledge
• Proven financial reporting, internal controls, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving and process improvement abilities
• Experience in audits, tax compliance, and risk management
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems

• Reliability and trustworthiness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to learn accounting software and use office equipment

Compensation:100,000 - 130,000/ year
