Position Requirements
Must be based in Orlando, Florida
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA) preferred.
5-10 years of experience in a Controller or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting, financial analysis, and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Financial Management
Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with deadlines and staff schedules.
Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and other financial management protocols.
Financial Reporting
Prepare month end and annual financial reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Present financial results and analysis to senior management and ownership.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of state and federal reporting requirements.
Stay updated on emerging financial trends and regulations.
Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor our bookkeeping team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with external partners, such as our outside CPA firm, to support financial initiatives.
