Controller - Multifamily Real Estate Investments

Job Summary:

Culver Investment Partners (“CIP”) is seeking an experienced Controller. The position will oversee all finance and accounting operations, playing a pivotal role in our continued expansion. Reporting directly to senior management, you will lead our accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Coordinate with external parties, including investors, lenders, and auditors, to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and reporting
• Oversee treasury functions, including bank reconciliations, cash flow projections, and funding requests.
• Lead financial audits and due diligence processes for acquisitions and dispositions
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on complex accounting issues and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• 3 - 7+ years of experience in accounting roles within the real estate industry, particularly in multifamily investments
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
