DIRECTOR OF ANALYTICS ENGINEERING

HYBRID POSITION IN DALLAS, TEXAS

MUST BE IN THE DALLAS AREA OR OPEN TO RELOCATION

$175,000 - $200,000 BASE

Overview: As the Senior Director of Analytics Engineering, you will turn business asks into analytics and engineering challenges, resolve them, and then communicate the insights to the relevant stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and innovation. This is a very hands-on role where technical abilities are just as key as management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the offshore and onshore analytics team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, and DBT.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytics solutions.
• Manage and optimize ETL processes and workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies in analytics and data engineering.
• Manage relationships with offshore team members and ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Must have experience managing an offshore team.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, and DBT.
• Experience with coding in Python or R is a plus.
• Working knowledge of a cloud platform (preferably AWS or Azure).
• Knowledge of Github or other version control tool
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Databricks
