Position Summary{{:}} As a Director of Real Estate Asset Management at KCG Companies, you will leverage your expertise, leadership and accounting or finance to ensure the financial health and compliance of our communities. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, you will play a key role in monitoring fiscal status, analyzing financial statements, and making strategic decisions to optimize value. Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities{{:}} (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)

  • Report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Lead a team of Asset Managers.
  • Monitor the fiscal status of KCG communities, conducting monthly financial statement reviews and vacancy analysis
  • Oversee property management accountability, ensuring adherence to financial goals and governing document compliance
  • Coordinate the lease-up process for newly developed properties, optimizing rent and tenant mix in line with financial objectives
  • Assist in the review and approval process of annual property operating budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors, lenders, agencies, and community partners, providing transparent financial updates and insights
  • Conduct site visits and represent KCG during partner inspections and site visits, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any financial concerns
  • Participate in regular meetings with property management and partners, offering financial expertise and strategic guidance
  • Review partnership agreements, regulatory agreements, loan/financing documents, and other financial documents as needed
  • Assist in gathering information required for capital calls, permanent conversions, and other financial transactions

Knowledge and qualifications{{:}}

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong preference for real estate or property management experience
  • Experience leading an asset management team.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time

Physical Demands/ Work Environment{{:}}

The duties of this position are usually performed in an office/indoor setting.  The employee may be exposed to fluctuating outdoor temperatures and other weather conditions while moving fromm one location to another.  While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, sit, or use hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
