PJM and SERC Solar Development Recruitment Consultant
My client, a growing C&I / DG scale solar developer is looking for Director of Business Development to devise their Business Strategy and lead a growing origination team.
Responsibilities
Establish Sales Strategy and Develop go-to-market materials in order to build pipeline
Initiating outreach to land and business owners to acquire land for new solar sites
Establishing trust landowners through various means including in-person
Preparing and presenting project proposals and business cases to internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners
Drafting and negotiating Purchase Agreements with landowners and legal representatives
Traveling for necessary site visits and landowner relations
Project managing permitting activities with internal teams and attending municipality meetings as needed
Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for new projects
Representing the company at industry conferences and networking events
Qualifications
Strong Preference for a fluent Spanish speaker
Demonstrated track record of building strategy and translating to sales
Experience managing at least 1 direct report
Experience in renewables preferred with other land development considered
Experience in Puerto Rico preferred
Ability to travel up to 50%
