Although critically acclaimed around the globe, the studio is a newcomer to the Texan market and is therefore keen to meet with a Business Development professional that has proven experience winning projects and building key relationships with developers and design markets from the East and South coasts of America, within multi-family and hospitality sectors especially. Job Description
Work closely with the Studio Director and Business Development Leads across peer studios to align business development strategy for the region
Report into the Managing Director for the studio on pitch progress and programmes
Attend and lead industry networking events, generating new leads and staying on top of market intel within the hospitality and multi-family sectors
Identify prospective sectors of development beyond hospitality and multi-family
Produce and deliver proposals to prospective developers and stakeholders
As the studio grows, you will be overseeing a small team of operational staff who will manage the day to day business development admin duties
Key Skills
Ideally you will have a degree or qualification in marketing, communications and / or a design related field
Must have worked in a business development or partnerships strategy role for the design sector previously
Ideally you will have a strong network across the East and or South Coasts of America
You must have a genuine passion for the design industry, ideally with experience in high-end, large scale projects
Must have aspirations to carve out a strategic role within a critically acclaimed studio, with the drive and motivation to do so within a growing studio
Clear and succinct communicator, a strong team player with ability to collaborate with all team members
