Director of Collections

Our client, a financial institution in San Antonio, TX, is currently seeking a Director of Collections to join their robust collections team. The incumbent will directly manage two managers and indirectly manage a consumer collections staff of over 100. This team covers all consumer products collections, mortgages, consumer loans, auto loans.

Responsibilities

• Manage consumer collections team
• Manage the policies, procedures, and processes that exist across the collections lifecycle
• Lead collection program development and implementation
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations
• Collaborate with external attorneys and consultants
• Recommend new initiatives to improve collections team

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a consumer collections environment
• Prior management experience is required
• MUST have auto loan experience
• MUST have consumer loan experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
