The Director of Development reports to the Executive Director. This role involves guiding fundraising and planned giving strategies, and collaborating with the Executive Director and Board Development Committee.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual giving campaigns, major gifts, stewardship, planned giving, and special events.
Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors to foster long-term support.
Administration and Compliance: Oversee fundraising administration, financial reporting, system management, and compliance with regulations.
Board Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison to the Board Development Committee, working closely with the Board Chair, Development Committee Chair, and Executive Director.
Team Leadership: Supervise the Senior Associate Director of Development, a grant writer, and a data entry professional.
