FP&A Director – Latin America

As part of its strong development in LATAM, BVLGARI is seeking an FP&A Director with strong expertise in management control. The FP&A Director is managing 3 direct reports, based respectively in Brazil, Mexico, and Miami.

Reporting to the Americas CFO, the FP&A Director will engage in daily and monthly financial monitoring, monthly and quarterly close, budget and forecast preparation, and financial planning, as well as participate in various financial and extra-financial projects.

The FP&A Director will serve as a strategic business partner for the region President and the Americas CFO, providing critical financial oversight and support to the LATAM team in a dynamic environment.

BVLGARI in LATAM: 11 stores (Mexico 6, Brazil 3, St Barth, San Juan), 2 ecommerce websites, Travel retail, Franchisees, and wholesale business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Controlling:

• Serve as a strategic partner to the rest of the LATAM leadership team, leveraging a transversal vision to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

• Implement and enhance analytical dimensions in all processes.

• Coordinate comprehensive reporting activities, focusing on sales, margin, expenses, capex, and key operational indicators, to provide performance insights.

Financial Reporting & Activity Monitoring:

• Responsible for monthly and annual closing of 3 legal entities with the support of local finance (Brazil & Mexico) and NY Accounting team.

• Optimize the production and presentation of monthly reports by preparing comprehensive dedicated activity analysis, such as monthly PowerPoint, marketing expenses review, T&E…

• Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support decision-making.

Budget and Strategic Planning:

• Plan and optimize the budget process (including revisions), in coordination with Central (guidelines & schedule), Americas CFO, LATAM President and local team.

• Assist local team entities in developing robust multi-year business plans and scenarios.

• Consolidate and challenge all data (sales, margin, opex…) to prepare the P&L and relevant analysis.

Key Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional background, ideally within the retail / luxury environment.

• Extensive experience in financial data manipulation and information systems, with advanced Excel skills.

• Proven track record of providing strategic financial guidance and raising alerts to management.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial insights and strategic recommendations clearly.

• This candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, adapts easily to change, have a commitment to excellence.

• Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders

• The individual must demonstrate a great team spirit and will contribute to a collaborative and multi-cultural environment.

• Willingness to travel as required (mostly within the LATAM Region)

• Foreign language skills: English and Spanish fluency mandatory.
