Job Description: Director of Human Resources


A great opportunity to join a well-established global SaaS company in a growth stage (organic & M&A). This company is seeking a motivated leader to partner with the existing HR Manager to grow and lead their talent functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee HR functions to attract, retain, and develop extraordinary talent.
  • Culture: Partner with leadership to drive a positive, inspiring culture and implement HR policies, programs, and practices.
  • Project Management: Hands-on management of HR projects and programs across multiple offices and remote locations.
  • HR Expertise: Manage all HR functions with a strong understanding of US and (preferably) UK employment laws.
  • Distributed Work Environment: Implement best people practices in a distributed work environment.
  • Strategic Partner: Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing deep insights and proactive solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance management, talent development, L&D, compensation & benefits, and employee surveys.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, security, and audit requirements.
  • Advise on cultural practices and support corporate culture, vision, and values.
  • Participate in acquisition opportunities, due diligence, and integration workstreams.
  • Coach managers in team development and management.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Handle employee discipline and termination as needed.


Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies.
  • Implement HR policies, processes, training, and initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, performance management, and training.
  • Conduct research and analysis of HR trends and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage departmental budget and facilitate HR staff development.
  • Oversee payroll and office management duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Effective presentation skills for internal and Board communications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Adaptability to organizational and employee needs.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems.
  • Experience with Rippling is a plus.


This role reports to the CEO and focuses on fostering and expanding a great employee experience.
