Director of Land Development - Production Homebuilder in Charleston

We are seeking a Director of Land Development to join our team at a leading production homebuilder in Charleston. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in residential land development in the Charleston metro area.

This position will be primarily responsible for all off-site development activities for the Charleston division.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of land development projects, from initial concept to project completion

- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery

- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals

- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise

- Stay current on local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and market trends to make informed decisions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in residential land development in the Charleston metro area

- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Knowledge of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and market trends
