Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for leading and directing the Division’s land planning and development teams in all aspects of the planning and development phases.


What you will do:

  • Lead and direct for assigned Division project due diligence, feasibility budgets and schedules, planning and entitlement, land development, and budgeting activities.
  • Oversee and support programs established by Area management team.
  • Oversee due diligence activities.
  • Assess project risks and convey risks to Area VP and Operations Team.
  • Participate in establishing feasibility budgets and schedules for all consulting, engineering, and development activities.
  • Coordinate land activities with Operating Team to facilitate timely project start-up.
  • Oversee the timely preparation of Conditional and Final Public Reports. Assist Area VP with implementation of standard DRE protocol. Oversee Division HOA activities.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff.
  • Oversee timely preparation of contracts.
  • Assist Area VP with implementation of standard contracting protocol.
  • Oversee project bidding and land purchasing activities for Division.


What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Related leadership experience in residential land development.
  • Seniority level
