As a Director of Project Management you will lead and manage multiple complex projects involving both internal systems and networking technologies across several geographies to ensure project delivery within timeframe and budget constraints. You will work closely with product management teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The successful candidate will be able to analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.

You must have strong people management skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your ability to think strategically, anticipate risks, and proactively address issues will help mitigate potential roadblocks and keep projects on track. Additionally, your expertise in technology solution delivery and problem management will enable you to navigate complex situations and drive results.

About the Role:

In this opportunity, you will:

  • Lead and refine project management strategies & methodologies, focusing on customer satisfaction and enterprise software implementation success.
  • Provide project insights, reporting and dashboarding to senior leadership.
  • Direct the management of the total project backlog, ensuring that project prioritization aligns with customer expectations and company goals.
  • Monitor and manage project burn rates, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring financial efficiency across projects.
  • Develop strategies to address and restart stalled projects, assessing underlying issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze project trends to predict future challenges and opportunities, adjusting project management practices accordingly.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, managing escalations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic consulting to clients on the deployment and effective use of enterprise software solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team, encouraging innovation and best practice adoption.
  • Lead the project management team with a focus on professional development, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Report to executive management on project performance, risks, customer feedback, and strategic outcomes.


About You:

You're a fit for the role, if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing customer-facing projects.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise software implementation, customer escalations, and consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage project backlogs, identify trends, and implement strategic improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide a project management team.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
