We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Permanent Director of Quality in our Engineering department. This role is pivotal to our organization as it ensures the quality and safety of our operations, products and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of 14 CFR Part-145 Repair Station operations, Aircraft/Component Drawings, Standard Practices Manuals/SOPM’s, and Composite Material procedures. They will also be familiar with the procedures as written in FAA Order 8130.21.
Responsibilities
As the Permanent Director of Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanics are performing maintenance per proper OEM tech data and RSQCM, CASE, and EASA manuals. You will be tasked with training and mentoring new inspectors in the Quality Control Department. You will also be responsible for researching new subcontractors for the many special processes involved in maintenance.
You will also maintain all stamp/manager/inspector rosters along with employee summaries. You will also be responsible for maintaining all process manuals RSQCM, Training Manual (in partnership with Training Program Manager), EASA Supplement, C.A.S.E. procedures manuals. You will also be expected to perform follow-ups, draft and complete corrective actions.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You must also be familiar with all regulations regarding the operation of an FAA Repair Station 14 CFR Part 145, 121, 39, 43, 65, etc.
You must have a strong understanding of 14 CFR Part-145 Repair Station operations, Aircraft/Component Drawings, Standard Practices Manuals/SOPM’s, and Composite Material procedures. You should also be familiar with the procedures as written in FAA Order 8130.21.
You must have a proven track record of training and mentoring new inspectors in the Quality Control Department. You should also have experience with the EASA Supplement, C.A.S.E. procedures manuals, and performing follow-ups/drafting and completing corrective actions.
Experience in researching new subcontractors for the many special processes involved in maintenance is also required. You must also be able to maintain all stamp/manager/inspector rosters along with employee summaries and all process manuals RSQCM, Training Manual (in partnership with Training Program Manager), EASA Supplement, C.A.S.E. procedures manuals.
