Position Overview:

The Director of Sales at HorsePower Brands is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and driving the company’s sales vision, leading the sales department, and fostering strong relationships with franchisees. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s growth and success by implementing effective sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales Department Development: Champion the development and management of the sales department, ensuring it aligns with HorsePower Brands’ values and has the necessary tools, processes, and personnel to achieve its goals
  • Strategic Sales Vision: Craft and implement a clear sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and maximizes success through effective processes and tools
  • Team Leadership and Motivation: Lead and motivate the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and support to achieve targets and improve customer service with franchisees
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Design and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets, adapting strategies to market changes and aligning with broader business goals
  • Relationship Cultivation: Build strong relationships with franchisees to drive successful outcomes and ensure their needs are met and feedback is integrated into the sales strategy
  • Sales Objectives and Reporting: Develop and promote sales objectives, track progress, and provide regular performance updates to senior management, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Market Analysis and Sales Forecasting: Conduct market research to identify optimal selling prices and predict sales performance, guiding strategic planning with accurate forecasts and models
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • GED or high school diploma required
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of sales leadership experience with track record of success
  • Previous Home Service experience in either, roofing, HVAC, painting, glass installation, spray foam installation, window coverings, lawn care, lighting installation
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding training acumen, with exceptional negotiation & leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Previous franchise experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, preferred
