Joffe Emergency Services provides products and services to educational institutions and major event venues across the country, and is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales department. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets across product and service categories, regions, and accounts.
Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional storytelling, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
Understand Joffe's suite of products and services and the impact that we provide to our clients
Assessing costs, competitor pricing and ROI to determine product price positioning
Define a clear and compelling annual plan, drive a culture of strong accountability & execution, orientation towards developing new customer accounts and expanding existing ones
Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products and services
Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
Achieve quarterly and annual pipeline targets
Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports. Leverage data to identify areas of focus and improvement
Working with existing and potential customers to better understand their business needs and goals and translating that into a value proposition story of why we are the best market choice
Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty and long term account value
Define critical drivers of success and design playbooks, career paths, and appropriate measurements for the sales organization
Meeting with internal and external sales representatives to assess performance against sales plans and making timely adjustments to correct at-risk targets
Continue growing and managing a team, developing the next generation of talent at Joffe, and recruit & build a balanced and diverse team
Establishing a sales training program to train new employees
Drive Cross-functional engagement with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product
Frequent knowledge sharing with organizational peers to ensure we are always learning
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional development in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role including coaching, mentoring and scaling teams in all aspects of the sales process.
Consultative sales skills and ability to construct and articulate strong business case and strategic account planning and execution skills.
Excellent operational/analytical skills - reporting, forecasting, data analysis skills; operations management experience. You appreciate structure and process and are data-driven.
Strong innovation skills - you will think of innovative ways to boost sales conversion rates and drive revenue.
In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. This role will require consistent communication with leaders across the organization.
Experience selling to educational institution administrators and/or event venue management is highly desirable

Benefits
Compensation is DEO: $120,000 to $150,000 per year + up to 50% per year in variable compensation.
