Director Supply Chain - Remote | WFH

Are you ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in the world of supply chain management? We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Supply Chain to join our team in Allentown, PA. As the Director of Supply Chain, you'll report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations. You'll lead a talented team, manage complex projects, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

What You'll Do

Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring that we consistently achieve our inventory and customer service goals.

Optimize Operations: Streamline the flow of goods from suppliers to manufacturing and from manufacturing to customers, using lean principles and strategic planning.

Innovate: Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new products on time, integrating consumer needs, competitive intelligence, and supplier insights into the supply chain.

Measure Success: Track and report on key supply chain metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Build Resilient Networks: Evaluate and enhance our manufacturing networks to be flexible, responsive, innovative, and resilient.

Drive Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to minimize costs, manage material demand, and hedge against volatility.

Support Growth: Play a crucial role in acquisition or divestiture activities, reporting, and budgeting initiatives.

Travel: Be prepared to travel approximately 25% of the time to support business activities at all locations.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 8+ years in a pharma, life science, or capital equipment environment, with 5+ years in a leadership role. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is strongly preferred.

Skills

Expertise in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, category management, and contract lifecycle management.

Proven ability to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and streamline operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and master production scheduling. Syteline experience is a plus.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO-9000) and project management.
