Description
Robert Half is currently assisting a large organization in a search for a Business Unit Controller. The Business Unit Controller will partner with the CFO in managing the accounting/finance function for the BU.
Duties And Responsibilities
Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
Manages accounting functions on a day-to-day basis
Responsible for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting
Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
Develops, analyzes, documents and implements internal controls
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
Assists the CFO with preparation and completion of the fiscal year budgeting process, evaluates business unit performance against budget, and develops forecasts to provide an accurate projection of financial performance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
A Master's degree with a focus on financial management is preferred.
Advanced competency in financial management and accounting software
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations.
Superb organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
