Our work brings about life-changing transformation, and we're seeking Health Specialists to join our Early Childhood Education team and be a vital part of this mission.
What You'll Do: As an Education Coach within St. Anne’s Early Childhood Education department, which specializes in working with children ages 0-5, you will be responsible for identifying educational staff that would benefit from implementing a collaborative practice-based coaching process that aligns with curriculum, data assessments, School Readiness goals, and outcomes. You will be required to travel between the Main Office and Early Childhood Education centers located in Los Angeles and Lynwood, as needed. Mileage reimbursement is offered for travel.
Duties Include
Caseloads include working with educational staff that may consist of a combination of Home-Based, Early Head Start, and Head Start Center-Based educators
Using Practice Based Coaching model to provide coaching in expert, self, peer, or group formats
Developing SMART goals in collaboration with mentees
Conducting observations, and providing support and feedback
Other duties, as required
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
Valid California Child Development Master Teacher permit or higher
6+ college units with an emphasis on infant and toddler development
Other Requirements
4+ years’ experience in a classroom or group setting with children ages 0-5
Valid California Class C Driver’s License
Valid automobile insurance
Must have a reliable automobile
Preferred Skills
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Korean
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to relate well to children and adults
