The Environmental Engineer/Specialist develops, coordinates and manages various activities around the Environmental Management System (EMS)
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related subject required
4 - 6 years manufacturing environmental experience
Skills/Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements
Advanced knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations
Knowledge of and ability to utilize problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D, etc.
Moderate to advanced computer skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret environmental standards and regulations
Strong process skills
Ability to develop and present solid presentations to employees at all levels
