Facilities Operation Manager / Maintenance Lead

Melhem Enterprises, a real estate company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Manager of Facility Operations for a portfolio of 25+ commercial office spaces.

Responsibilities Include

  • Communication and coordination of people and tasks to accomplish repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment systems
  • Establish, maintain and monitor a preventative maintenance program that promotes esthetic appeal to tenants
  • Possess good communication skills to maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, staff and vendors
  • Complete move in/move out process for tenants including:
    • unit preparation and obtaining certificates of occupancy for move in
    • conducting final inspections when lease(s) expire
    • market/show vacant properties to prospective tenants
    • ensure units are current on fire inspections and safety items
    • screen and prepare leases for unit rentals
    • obtain competitive bids, oversee capital improvement projects
  • Maintenance functions as needed/required (ability to handle small repairs, know when to call in subcontractors and oversee larger projects are a pertinent aspect of this position)
