Our client is seeking to hire a Financial Controller with experience in manufacturing or in environments governed by stringent regulatory and reporting requirements.
The Financial Controller is responsible for coordinating and managing all accounting and administrativeoperations as assigned by the company, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial information and required reports.
Principal Responsibilities:
Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial data
Provide financial analysis including cost variancesand other below the line costs
Perform month-end close activities including accruals, general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries as needed
Responsibility for all accounting functions
Utilize outside payroll service and incorporate results into General Ledger functions
Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
Maintain a documented system of internal financial controls, accounting processes andpolicies
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Coordinate and lead annual audits; liaise with external auditors
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
3-5 years managing accounting activities in manufacturing environment
Experience with major ERP systems in a manufacturing company
Working knowledge of manufacturing costing
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to provide strategic financial guidance and forecasting to support the company’s goals
Ability to solve problems by gathering information, making recommendations, and ensuring effective execution
Detail-oriented, with a desire to understand the business and independently identify and pursue improvement opportunities
Ability to interact with senior executives and management, as well as business staff at all levels
Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines with Advanced skills in Excel
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA
Five (5) or more years of experience in Public Company accounting setting
Experience managing an accounting team
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations.

Salary Range: $115,000 - 150,000 based on experience
