Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing accounting operations, overseeing team of 15 staff accountants, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS, and producing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee accounting department operations and structure.
  • Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and manage vendor relationships.
  • Align accounting processes with GAAP and financial legislation.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage audits and reconciliations.
  • Support other departments in financial decision-making.
  • Stay informed about finance industry developments.
  • Maintain chart of accounts and financial systems.
  • Implement controls to mitigate risk.
  • Uphold core values of compassion, authenticity, talent, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Education: BA in accounting or business administration or equivalent.
  • Experience: 12+ years in accounting/finance. expiernce Multiple enity and accounting
  • Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (pivot tables, vlookups, macros) and 12+ years with Great Plains or similar systems.
  • Language Ability: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred experience: in Docuphase and Blackline

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Office environment with potential for noise and fast pace.
  • Requires long periods of sitting and standing.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small objects.
  • Close and distance vision required; ability to shift focus rapidly.
  • Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 30 pounds, twist, turn, bend, and stoop.
