FP&A Director for Private-Equity Backed, Financial Services firm with path to CFO!!

StevenDouglas has partnered with a private equity backed, high-growth financial services firm that is actively seeking an FP&A Director to join their team! Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Director will lead and coordinate the firm's financial planning and analysis duties including preparing annual budgets, forecasting/variance analysis duties, liquidity planning, and other decision support analytics. In addition, this person will play a key role in analyzing potential firms the organization is looking to acquire and help with the due diligence process of potential transactions.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide decision support analytics for members of Senior Leadership and the C-Suite, as well as the Private Equity sponsor
• Develop real-time business intelligence dashboards through Power BI
• Develop financial models to assist Senior Leadership making informed business decisions, and make recommendations based on findings
• Play an active role in the due diligence process for acquiring potential firms
• Assist CFO with investor relations requests, and other ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• 7+ years of FP&A experience, previous experience in financial services required
• Prior experience in M&A, or previous experience with the due diligence process of acquiring firms
• Advanced financial modeling skills including experience with three-statement financial models
• Strong MS Excel Skills, exposure to Power BI Dashboards preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to the C-Suite, and Private Equity sponsor
