As a Freelance Remote Director, you will play a crucial role in creating social media video assets for ad campaigns. Your responsibilities will include remotely directing talent using industry-standard video production technology, ensuring timely delivery of footage, and translating production requests into actionable filming plans.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Supervising Producers to transform production requests into detailed plans, aligned with client objectives.
Identify necessary resources to achieve project quality and performance goals.
Review brand and legal guidelines provided in creative briefs.
Convert briefs into comprehensive shot lists when required.
Partner with a Supervising Producer and Production Manager to anticipate and resolve production challenges.
Direct talent remotely to build a library of raw video assets.
Adhere to media management best practices, ensuring proper organization and naming conventions.
Participate in pre-production and post-mortem meetings for assigned projects.
Ensure timely delivery of raw video assets, meeting company quality and technical standards.
Stay updated on departmental best practices and incorporate insights into content creation.
Research industry trends and competitor activities to enhance content strategy.

Demonstrated expertise in talent direction, supported by a portfolio or reel.
Understanding of social media dynamics and best practices for performance-driven creative.

Compensation
