The Asset Management Finance team plays a crucial role, overseeing all aspects of fund financials and investor reporting. In this role, you will lead the Fund Finance organization in accounting and reporting for funds, collaborating with outside Fund Administrators and internal stakeholders. You will provide guidance on complex levered structures and initiatives, including financial reporting, ensuring accuracy through shadow booking of transactions, preparing capital calls and distributions, and responding to investor inquiries and due diligence requests. The ability to lead the team in completing multiple tasks under strict deadlines is essential. Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of analyzing data and conveying conclusions effectively.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting function in fund accounting and/or auditor roles.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and CPA.
Understand fair value accounting for alternative asset classes.
Experience with fund accounting / financial reporting for alternative asset manager including SMA’s, multi-investor vehicles, and CLO’s.
Experience in, or exposure to, middle market lending and private equity activity.
