Join a dynamic team as an Accounting Specialist (General Ledger). This role focuses on the preparation of general ledger entries and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain amortization schedules for designated areas.
Review financials to identify any missing invoices within assigned areas.
Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis, ensuring reconciliation of general ledger activities.
Prepare and verify general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
Support the Supervisor in General Ledger operations.
Develop and maintain manual procedures and related documentation.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Over 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and GAAP.
Experience with PeopleSoft is an advantage.
