About the Role:
The Group Account Director is a dynamic, multidimensional position crucial for creating successful work. This role involves leading multiple business verticals, including Influencer Marketing and Paid Social Media, partnering with agency leadership to expand the business portfolio, and envisioning the future of clients' businesses and the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership: Manage assigned business verticals, proactively seek opportunities to grow the business, and contribute to a positive agency culture.
- Account Leadership: Provide strategic direction, maintain client and agency relationships, foster a professional environment, and mentor internal teams. Identify challenges, lead discussions, understand social media and influencer marketing, and build strong client relationships.
- Management Oversight: Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure clarity in production processes, mentor direct reports, and guide integrated teams to execute great concepts.
- Financial Leadership: Oversee financial operations, manage project plans, establish efficient processes, and navigate production costs and campaign budgets.
- Agency Leadership: Inspire innovative thinking, participate in internal management and training, build trusted relationships with leadership, assist with new business pitches, and stay informed on industry trends and technological advances.
This is a full-time position in Plano, TX and relocation help could be provided if needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, strategic communication, or related field with extensive experience in Social Media, Digital Advertising, and/or Influencer Marketing.
- Considerable experience in integrated advertising agency roles, including a blend of agency and in-house positions.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience and a proven track record in leading client business, particularly in social media and influencer marketing.
- Strong client partnership skills, exemplary team leadership, and the ability to deliver world-class output.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to C-Suite executives.
- Extensive experience managing large-scale integrated campaigns and content production, with a focus on social and brand experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work in a hybrid office environment.
