Job Details
Responsibilities
Lead, train, and develop a team of processing associates
Uphold safety and quality standards to ensure a safe and efficient processing environment
Oversee all aspects of beef production
Optimize production processes to meet quality standards
Monitor production metrics and make recommendations for areas of improvement
Manage all beef raw material procurement and vendor relationships
Control costs, reduce waste, and maximize operational efficiency, while ensuring quality standards are upheld
Ensure the Maintenance operations team is functioning proficiently
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-Business or related field
Previous experience in beef slaughter or production
Experience leading large teams in a multi-site environment
Working knowledge of meat industry and USDA regulations and safety standards
Must possess or be able to obtain valid California driver’s license
