It requires being open to new ways of doing things and driving this innovation or digital transformation by always staying one step ahead. You understand that a narrative can and should be told across multiple channels and adapt to its audiences seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the 30+ person production team that bids, plots and produces an array of smart content to ensure timely-and-terrific production approaches and delivery. From a simple social post for 1 product to an integrated production with 100+ deliverables, to a high end film with a Hollywood director that will be distributed at a global scale. Ideally all at the same time. Whilst including some virtual production in the mix.
  • Together with the Ops manager, EP’s and Leads you are responsible for the intake process of new briefs, checking feasibility and casting the best teams to deliver the best answer.
  • Keep a bird’s eye view of all running productions, in our own studios, on location or with a local service producer. In order to maximize profitability and output and deliver award-winning, innovative and meaningful work. From pitch to shoot management to delivery.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of executive producers, senior producers and production managers providing them with clear responsibilities, goals, and career development.
  • Design and implement operational frameworks and ways for working and continuously improve them within a rapidly changing tech and data driven global content production ecosystem. Aligned with the other production hubs, MM offices and capabilities such as events, platforms and end-to-end social.
  • Help to build integrated production teams, tools and production set-ups across different offices in the US to start and across the globe as you gain traction..
  • Act as the driving force behind developing and implementing a CSR policy for MediaMonks integrated production with a focus on sustainable production. You champion and contribute to MediaMonks culture of diversity and inclusion.
  • Part of the client leadership team.

About You

The essentials:

  • This role requires someone that is experienced in both managing multi million-dollar film briefs, as well as in building organizations.
  • 15+ years of hands-on business experience in film and content production, with proven track record managing high-value and volume of interdisciplinary work.
  • Skilled in Production Management and consultancy, Production Budgeting, Advertising, Animation, Photography, Broadcasting, shoot management, negotiation and Full Post Production and distribution Management.
  • Comfortable setting up and maintaining a very close relationship with both our in-house film capabilities as well as with excellent service companies, directors, talents and artists.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills and you are a team player who can lead and inspire. You excel at interfacing with human beings and know how to motivate people to get things done, wherever they are in the world.
  • An executional mindset and are comfortable working in the trenches while simultaneously inspiring and leading others.
  • You oversee and overcome. You can keep the overview at all times, and instead of freaking out, you are freaking good working in a high paced environment and handling stressful situations.
