Interim Controller

Interim Controller needed for a 3-4 month contract assignment with a client located in the Camp Hill, PA area. The Interim Controller will be responsible for enhancing accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and financial controls. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the financial operations during the transitional period.

Interim Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Assist in special projects and initiatives as directed by executive leadership.

Interim Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, ideally in an interim capacity.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
