We are working with an Investment Management Firm that is expanding its Portfolio Strategy group. This unique opportunity allows you to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing investment strategies across diverse asset classes.
Position Overview
Our client is in search of a Junior Economist that has a strong educational background in macroeconomics. You will work alongside a Senior Economist and contribute to the analysis of global economy including trends, market conditions, and policy developments. The detailed research and insights this team generates is used to identify investment opportunities, assess risks and contribute to thematic investments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in economics with a major in macroeconomics.
Candidates with an advanced degree in economics or internship experience in investment research is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills and an ability to conduct economic research.
Exposure to markets would be valuable.
Location: NYC
Compensation: Base - $95-105k / Total Compensation $125-140k
