Job Description
The KARAMO show is seeking a LEGAL ASSISTANT. The Legal Assistant reports to the Senior Manager, Legal Administration and Line Producer. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day operational duties in connection with the production office and studio, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
Assist with the creation and maintenance of show files; including such tasks as checking legal documents, copying, scanning, and interfacing with production teams
Assist with legal release process, including interacting with guests on a national television show
Assist with day-of-show administrative tasks
Conduct legal research and/or due diligence as needed
Provide administrative support to special projects
Qualifications
Must have a flexible schedule
Proficient in Outlook Calendar, Contacts
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and navigating the internet
Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
Desired Qualifications/Characteristics
Detail-oriented, team player with great inter-personal skills
Ability to handle confidential information and/or documentation
Television production and/or legal experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 6 months experience in an administrative assistant position or similar role, including internships preferred
