We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting mammography imaging procedures and assisting in the diagnosis of medical conditions related to breast health. This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical imaging environment.
Duties:
- Perform mammography imaging procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment such as mammography machines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the imaging process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards in all aspects of work.
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a medical imaging setting, preferably with a focus on mammography.
- Proficiency in utilizing medical imaging technologies such as PET scans, Sonography, and Nuclear medicine.
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology related to mammography procedures.
- Familiarity with working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is a plus.
- Ability to perform urgent care imaging services while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT (M) Certification is required
One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required
Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
