Marine Surveyor / Portland, Maine Area / Part Time- Hourly Position
Marine Safety Consultants, Inc is looking for a Marine Surveyor who is a career maritime professional with commercial fishing and/or sea-going experience to conduct inspections and damage surveys on all types of marine vessels and barges, as well as crew injury claims investigations.
This is a part time / hourly position based from our Portland, Maine office, most work can be done remotely. Job could lead to a full time position. Moderate travel within Northern New England should be expected.
We are looking for someone who wants to be challenged, has a propensity to learn, and is interested in solving problems. This person needs to work well with others, be able to multi-task and think on their feet. We are proud of the services we provide and value the potential of a like-minded individual.
College education preferred. Must be able to convey conditions, circumstances, and situations in concise written reports. We are willing to work with someone who is willing to learn.
