Duties:
RNs provide and coordinate patient care. They also provide education to patients and the public about illnesses, diseases, and heath conditions. They're licensed medical professionals who work with patients, doctors, and other health care workers. RNs provide high level of direct care to patient
Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Accreditation: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
Licensure: Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice Registered Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Cardiac Certifications: Must have the following hands-on certification through the American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience: One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in med-surge
U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizen
English Language Requirement: Shall be able to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with all patients and other health care providers
Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract
