Company Overview:

ROMA Hired is conducting a retained and highly confidential executive search for a client in the manufacturing industry. Our client is poised for significant growth. They are aggressively looking to grow both organically and via acquisitions. They are seeking a decorated executive to join their board of directors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial restructuring, IPO readiness, and turnaround of distressed assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and oversight on financial matters to support the company's global expansion and growth initiatives.
  • M&A Expertise: Lead and advise on mergers and acquisitions, ensuring value creation and seamless integration.
  • Financial Restructuring: Develop and implement financial restructuring plans to optimize the company's financial performance and position.
  • IPO Readiness: Prepare the company for a potential initial public offering (IPO), including financial planning, regulatory compliance, and investor relations.
  • Turnaround Management: Lead efforts to turn around distressed assets, improving profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Global Expansion: Advise on financial strategies to support the company’s expansion into new international markets.
  • Corporate Governance: Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with shareholders, investors, and other key stakeholders.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of senior financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A, financial restructuring, IPO readiness, and turnaround management.


Global Perspective:

  • Proven track record in supporting global expansion initiatives.
  • Experience working in diverse international markets.


Leadership and Governance:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives at the board level.
  • Deep understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements.


Education:

  • Advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
