A top performing, award winning boutique, credit strategy hedge fund are looking to hire an ‘Operations Manager’.


The hire will report directly into the HOO, working a hands-on role + supervising a junior in the team.


The hands-on remit of the role is broad, with coverage across operations (settlements & recs oversight, corporate actions), middle office (NAV, P&L and valuations) and trader assistant (trade capture, trade bookings, performance analytics) tasks. The new hire can expect to front initiatives/be the face of many relationships with key external suppliers and stakeholders. Please consider that trading volumes are low, so you will have lots of time to focus on value-add projects for the investment team and COO.


Candidates should have 5-10yrs buy-side operations experience, with a specialist background in fixed income / credit. A passion to work in a hands-on operations role and progress within this space is a pre-requisite.


The role can pay an £80-100k base salary with an estimated circa 50% bonus, however in an exceptional year for the hire and the fund it has historically been possible to earn up to a 100% bonus.
